Sichuan Luobu New Material Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2019 in Shifang, Sichuan Province. It is a technology-based enterprise specializing in the R&D, manufacturing and global supply of high-performance phosphate-based fertilizers. Leveraging Shifang’s phosphate chemical industry foundation, the company focuses on the development, production and sale of fertilizers for drone-based crop protection. It pioneered the concept of "UAV-specific plant nutrition fertilizers" in China and, breaking away from the traditional approach to phosphorus chemical products, has continued to develop technologies and products for aerial agricultural applications.
Drone-Grade Monopotassium Phosphate (Drone-Grade MKP) is the company’s core product, independently developed and manufactured in-house. In response to the operating conditions of agricultural drones — low-volume spraying, high filtration requirements and frequent tank mixing — the company has carried out targeted optimization of key indicators such as dissolution performance, insoluble residue control, particle characteristics and storage stability. Applying flash-dissolution technology and a functional synergist formulation, the product achieves rapid dissolution, clean spraying and good leaf adhesion. The company also develops UAV spray adjuvants, NPK water-soluble fertilizers, straight water-soluble fertilizers and industrial and specialty phosphates, forming a complete portfolio covering drone spraying, foliar application, drip irrigation and fertigation.
The company holds 13 patents — 4 invention patents and 9 utility model patents — and has been recognized by the National Patent Office as an "Invention-Intensive Product" enterprise. It has been awarded honors including National High-Tech Enterprise, Sichuan Specialized, Refined, Distinctive & New Enterprise, Sichuan’s First Batch of Innovative Enterprises, Technology-based Small and Medium-sized Enterprise and Deyang City Gazelle Enterprise. Its Drone-Grade Potassium Dihydrogen Phosphate was selected among the 2023 Top 100 Agricultural Scientific Achievements by the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. The company has also obtained ISO 9001 quality management system certification and a scientific and technological achievement evaluation certificate.
The company operates its own manufacturing facilities and has established standardized procedures and a quality-control system covering raw-material sourcing, processing and finished-product packaging. Key control areas include dissolution rate, insoluble residue, particle distribution, moisture stability and nutrient consistency, ensuring batch-to-batch stability. The company supports 25 kg standard packaging, retail specifications and customized packaging and, drawing on its export experience, organises production and delivery according to the product specifications, packaging and logistics requirements of different markets.
The company’s products and services now cover more than 60 countries and regions, serving distributors, importers and agricultural service providers, with an international team possessing over 20 years of fertilizer industry experience. In recent years the company has maintained steady growth, with revenue of RMB 22 million in 2021, RMB 70 million in 2022, output value of RMB 180 million in 2023 and RMB 300 million in 2024.
