Meililin Technology (Panzhihua) Co., Ltd. is based in the Yanbian Vanadium-Titanium Industrial Development Zone of Panzhihua, Sichuan, and specialises in high-end vanadium-titanium wear-resistant materials. It produces high-end wear-resistant steel balls and steel cylpebs for metallurgy and mining, cement and building materials, thermal power and chemicals, selling across Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou and Xizang and exporting overseas. The plant sits next to Panzhihua's vanadium-titanium magnetite deposits, giving it a locational advantage for converting local resources on site.
Its 100,000-ton high-end project covers 38,380 square metres and runs one fully automated DISA moulding line, two automated iron-mould sand-coated casting lines and four German intelligent heat-treatment control lines, covering melting, moulding, heat treatment, inspection and packing. With the second phase and a further 300,000-ton grinding ball project on stream, capacity keeps expanding for large mining and cement customers.
The company sent teams to Denmark and Germany to study advanced manufacturing, introducing methods that overturn conventional processes, fill a domestic technical gap and make it the only Chinese producer reaching advanced European standards. Drawing on Panzhihua's vanadium-titanium magnetite, it incorporates vanadium and titanium into the material with gradient heat treatment, so products deliver 10% better wear resistance, 15% higher toughness and over 30% longer service life than conventional media. The media are used in SAG mills, ball mills and regrind circuits across mining, cement and power plants.
Commercially its grinding balls rank first in Southwest China and among the top five nationwide. In 2025 it completed its first independent export, shipping 400 tons to Laos, and by end-June had delivered over 8,000 tons to ASEAN and other markets worth more than RMB 50 million. First-half 2026 revenue rose by RMB 238 million year on year, with products now in Laos, Saudi Arabia and Canada. Export lots are packed in bulk bags, steel drums or wooden crates, with third-party inspection reports on request.
A Sichuan high-tech enterprise, it was granted five utility model patents in 2022 covering ball recovery and handling, noise reduction, ball spraying, material feeding and heat-treatment transfer, building a vanadium-titanium chain that spans grinding media, liners and mining equipment while cutting customers' wear and energy use per ton of ore. Waste-heat recovery and dust-removal upgrades are under way as part of its green factory programme.
